September 22, 2004 Sexy shoes by Mauro Slomp by Tatu Vuolteenaho London-based, Brazilian born shoe designer Mauro Slomp designed his first shoe collection four years ago and since then he has been in high demand. This autumn his shoes are teamed up with Galliano’s garments in the British Vogue and famed Gap photographer Koto Bolofo used his shoes for the Russian Vogue shot on one of Jean Paul Getty’s yahts. Fred Perry will sport Mauro’s wooden platforms on its 2005 calendar and even Geri Halliwell has been spotted in OK magazine wearing his large-buckled pink espadrilles.
