Stunning glass installations
by Tatu Vuolteenaho
George Papadopoulos began working with glass as a natural progression from his background in architecture and interior design. The unique approach to this Cyprus born artist’s work is achieved through a finite and delicate combination of spontaneity and control and by using the transparent, translucent and opaque qualities that glass offers.
His current exhibition ‘Elea’ (a Creek word meaning olive) shows 3 stunning installation pieces that has references to history, myth and autobiography.
