May 17, 2006 GARETH PUGH: HOST’S EXCLUSIVE MTV PARTY by Jamie E17 Once again MTV is to throw the most exclusive party at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Held at the most decadent venue on the Cote d’Azur, Pierre Cardin’s Palais Bulles (Bubble Palace). Designed in 1968 by Finnish architect Antti Lovag. Taking it’s edge from the villa’s extravagant 60’s design, this exclusive party will be a fusion of Curvaceous Chic, including, revolving lounges, bubble beds, globe lights, spiral carpets, free floating spheres, oil wheels, dots galore and blow-up couture courtesy of London fashion whiz kid Mr. Gareth Pugh! Pugh will also be creating the look and make up for all the staff as well as headgear for Stoli and Hennessy Hostesses. Models will be dressed in his showstoppers as part of the set.
