May 19, 2006 Great Space: Departure Lounge by Tatu Vuolteenaho I have been to Heaven’s Departure Lounge on Wednesdays for a couple of times now. Eric hosts a night called Dead Star on Wednesdays and he seems to have always a big bunch of drink tickets. Well, I would go there even without the free drinks because the space is so gorgeous. The Departure Lounge is three times higher than an ordinary underground club, the whole wall behind the bar is just one big mirror, plain, raw brick walls have been lit with nice warm tones and they have TV screens and projections. Music is good, but it’s at that level that you can have nice conversations too. This is a luxurious environment and makes you feel good and is open later than many other places in town.
