May 31, 2006 Stop Terrorizing Our World by Aristotle Walter Van Beirendonck, the genius Belgian fashion designer, channels in his latest collection his concerns about our globe being terrorized, reflecting his strong environmental and humanistic consciousness. After conducting research about polar bears dying because of melting ice-caps, for example, he produced slogans like "Arctic", "Amazon", "S.T.O.W", "globe in tears", "EARTHSAVE" and "care & cure". He used different languages to underline the impact of this world problem. Many items are reversible; outside they display the words; inside he tells the same story in a graphic way. "Instant Make-up" was created by throwing multicoloured confetti onto sticky faces.
