UNEARTH SOME UNLIKELY ARTEFACTS
by Jamie E17

Unlikely Artefacts is an exhibition that could have been collected from some old dusty and forgotten museum vault, which offers the opportunity to examine the remains of long gone and extinct creatures exhumed from blurred and unlikely mythologies.

Through Jim Friedlander’s inspired and eccentric sculptures you enter a world that is weirdly beautiful; a lost world, which will turn your expectations of archaeological finds upside down.

Jim Friedlander has been creating strange worlds since graduating from the Royal College of Art. He has exhibited internationally, including ‘Identities in Wax’ at the Georg Kolbe Museum, Berlin as well as art directing/model making for pop promos for bands including The Darkness and the Futureheads.
