June 21, 2006 MARIPOL by Temposhark I had an amazing time hanging out last week in New York with one of my biggest heroine's Maripol. I've been a big fan of hers since I was about 5 years old. One of my earliest memories is Madonna in a Maripol-designed pink wig dancing to 'Like A Virgin' on Top Of The Pops... and who can forget the Boy Toy belt genius! She took me to see her current exhibition of poloroid photos at the Soho Grand which features glorious blown-up poloroids taken in the late 70s and 80s including legends Andy Warhol, Grace Jones, Madonna, Jean Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and many, many more...
