French artist Oliver Goulet has designed an organic look and feel to fashion - The ‘Skinbag’. Skinbag products are made from synthetic human-like skin with a creased, bumpy appearance complete with wrinkles, spots, moles, blemishes, scars and even tattoos, giving a ‘natural’ aspect to the range of clothing and accessories. Every hand crafted Skinbag product is protective and waterproof. Available in all the shades of human skin: White, Red, Black and Mixed. (Hmmm…not sure about yellow though). These products symbolize an extension of the body, sometimes seen grotesque, but I just think they give another meaning to the ‘man bag’. It’s gore chic. Skinbag...skin is in!
