August 30, 2006 La Perse in Helsinki by Tatu Vuolteenaho Club La Perse in Helsinki is a monthly club about music, style, self-expression and fun. The night started with drinking champagne in a Taxi at 10pm and ended up with drinking vodka shots and trying on corsets at 9am at the home of this weird and wonderful creature that had reindeer horns, blond hair, white bow, red dancer’s dress and extra high red stilettos. I enjoyed DJ:ing for La Perse crowd who were into many styles, like raw electro, dance pop, deep house and minimal techno. The theme for the night was “Senioritas y Matarores” and my look was about the Moorish influence in Spain or was I the housewife from Vihti (small town 40 km from Helsinki)?
