January 12, 2007 RUI LEONARDES: DEATH BY CRUCIFIXION by Jamie E17 On Sunday 17th September Portuguese designer Rui Leonardes launched the ON/OFF Fashion week with a party held at Lindley Hall, The Royal Horticultural Halls, Victoria. ON/OFF has established itself as one of the hottest tickets during London Fashion Week’s calendar – with an international fashion audience of over 6000 press and buyers attending the event. The venue provides facilities for up to 30 designers for the duration of London Fashion Week. Rui exhibited a Flash Video Instillation (produced by Kenny Campbell, photographed by Simian Coates) for his S/S'07 Collection ‘Death by Crucifixion’, featuring his signature leathers, chrome masks and stilt heels, with a soundtrack produced by Warboy.
