January 12, 2007 GARETH PUGH: A FASHION FETISH by Jamie E17 Gareth Pugh’s Spring/Summer 2007 collection was a black and white vision of geometric fetish-like harlequins. Genderless, faceless and head to toe in shiny black latex. Skin was obviously not in! As the chic alien-like inhabitants from some futuristic planet, sophisticatedly paraded the billowing, rubber-like catwalk, we saw plenty of vinyl, shimmering silver foil and black and white checked plastic.
