January 12, 2007 CASSETTE PLAYA: L.S.I ////////// by Jamie E17 OH-MY-GOSH!!! Miss Carri Mundane has done me proud! On Friday evening at the MAN show held at the NCP Car park, Soho, I was waiting very excitedly to see Cassette Playa’s S/S’07 collection. When the giant cube at the end of the catwalk was spun round to reveal a florescent Cassette Playa cyber symbol everyone cheered including myself. The music started and toxicolour and Krayola covered sci-fi rudeboys strut their stuff down the runway. I was in heaven! I wanted every single thing! Trademark Eyeball tees, text message trackies, digital over-sized silk shorts, it was an immersion of liquified computer pixels, it was Sega on acid! Even a giant Sonic the Hedgehog made his catwalk debut donning an amazing blue and white eyeball covered tee. I WANT, I NEED, I MUST HAVE!!! More pictures from the show
