September 24, 2006 MARTIN CREED: THIS IS JUST SICK! by Jamie E17 Former Turner Prize winner Martin Creed brings us his latest work ‘Sick Film’. It is to be premiered on Friday evening during Frieze week 2006 in the sumptuous surroundings of the Curzon Mayfair cinema. The film is basically 19 separate sequences of different people vomiting. Martin transforms this violent and repulsive physical act into a form of art performance, enacted against a plain white backdrop acting as the canvas.
