December 11, 2006 RYAN STYLES @ THE GUGGENHEIM NYC by Jamie E17 Über-talented performance artist and Drag star Ryan Styles will be performing live at the 2006 Young Collectors Council Artist’s Ball sponsored by Giorgio Armani. The much-anticipated YCC Artist's Ball celebrates a generation of young artists, collectors and friends of the Guggenheim Museum and honors internationally-acclaimed video artist Pippilotte Rist. Ryan Styles is an infamous performer on London’s club scene and cabaret circuit. Last year he won Bistrotheque’s notorious Tranny Talent Contest and Transvestite Lipsynchronicity Show. For the past two years he has appeared in ‘The Cave of the Golden Calf’ an avant-garde cabaret at Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival. Thursday 14th December @ Solomon R.
