January 2, 2007 Skylight Disco, Verona, Italy by Tatu Vuolteenaho Wow, What a New Years party! The club is situated in San Bonfacio near Verona. Outside the club is silver with discoballs and inside they have 3-4 dancefloors, each playing different style of music. The crowd is up for it happy gay/mixed party people. I was impressed with everything there. They even had lots of high heels and wigs in different colours and a sewing machine at the backstage area so you can make last minute outfits right there! They put lots of effort into the nights with dancers, MCs and even the bartenders wore extra glitter. It was a joy to play there. I played full-on party tunes in house, electrohouse, techno, progressive house and minimal styles. Skippy fun minimal electrohouse like Mike Monday’s “What day is it?” got the biggest cheers.
