January 19, 2007 Milk & Honey by Kim Jakobsen To Gareth McConnel's new show is on at the Counter Gallery in Charlotte Road 44. He photographs everything from intimate moments and mediative silent spaces, and this exhibition is showing a wide rage of McConnels work from the past years. Pictures without titles or information works in the white space as narrative, with no begging or end. It speaks of a deep will to communicate his universe. From the first man he ever knew and his pregnant flatmate to Ibiza kids, anti-social behaviour and his bed turned into a minimal horizion.
