March 30, 2007 OFFCUTS ‘07 by Jamie E17 Offcuts is the brainchild of four frustrated London-based creative individuals who wanted to create a new arena where the underground film scene and music scene could meet. This Sunday from 6pm and 12, Offcuts will be screening five cutting edge videos some specially commissioned alongside five tracks and live performances from Selfish Cunt, Tetine, Paloma Faith & The Unfaithful, The Pistolas and Miz Metro (NYC). Plus DJ’s (yet to be announced). A panel of judges including Uli Meyer (major UK animator), Deb Googe (bassist for My Bloody Valentine) and Dougal Wilson (Director of Benny Benassi’s “Satisfaction”) will vote for the best three videos and the winners will receive some serious filmmaking software!
