May 20, 2007 GOODBYE HEDI AND AMEN by Antonia Leslie Kenny Campbell is wearing a total look from the very last collection of Hedi Slimane for Dior Homme. I can remember before he arrived at Dior, the men's collection was in a dusty corner of the general press office. Heidi took it to it's own building and surrounded it by a style that changed the menswear market for good. The first collection had all the fashion doyennes squeezing themselves into Dior Homme for the first time ever probably finding it difficult to breath. The model agencies ran around looking for wraith spaghetti like boys who could get their legs into his trousers. We would like to say thank you to Hedi Slimane for all that and see you soon.
