September 21, 2007 GARETH PUGH SPRING/SUMMER 08 by Anthony Symonds Boo hoo Gareth Pugh, Not! Unless of course it’s tears of joy. Northern wonder Gareth Pugh doled out another fat helping of his unique take on Camden Goth, cyber tranny, mega wow to an audience who were definitely gagging so. The show was an unexpectedly toned down affair by Pugh’s’ standards. (Not a demonic facemask in sight) Maybe a result of fifth season fatigue or just commercial growing pains. (He has a new manufacturing deal) That said our Gazza was still letting us have it and this season ‘it’ came with fringing on, lots of it! Still tight and to the point it blurred into a frenzy of swishing, mile high dominatrix ponytails, leather fringing beyond and mad max style monkey hair sheepskins all trussed up with d-rings and bondage straps.
