KJ spring/summer 2008 at man
by Anthony Symonds

Showing under the Man umbrella KJ is intended to bridge a gap left by the campy sportswear tie up with Umbro, which ended last season (Where am I gonna get a Pastel pink shell suit from now?). Scally totty aside there was also some pretty cute numbers on the runway of the clothing variety. Quirky mohair batwing jumpers looked oddly believable (no honestly), as did Jones’ signature ‘quality chav wear’, which this season came in marled jersey and pastel poplins. Less successful were lemon yellow, (Everywhere this season-Please make it go away mummy), the hybrid tailored items that looked distinctly eastern European (and not in a good way) and some truly scary high-waisted trousers (see lemon yellow). Overall though a welcome return to mid price clobber from Mr Jones.
