September 24, 2007 KOMAKINO SPRING/SUMMER 2008 by Octavia Vauxhall Fashion Scout was awash with fashions finest last Wednesday for the first official SuperSuper show during LFW. Launching 5 new brands chosen from London’s emerging underground, Komakino was first out on the catwalk. Keeping with a monochrome palette the launch of Komakino’s first collection titled “Monsters” saw not so simple design qualities meet oversized and exaggerated. A jumble of street-picked models sporting shiny ponchos, baggy crotch shorts and squiggles a plenty lined up in uniform pivoting the Komakino brand logo banner. Before getting back stage I scoured the crowd for VIP’s noticing Side by Side, 10 magazine and Kniq taking snaps of the show no doubt as impressed as I was.
