November 21, 2004 CASA DECOR CAD04 by Aki Choklat CAD04, Porto, Portugal 17 November-12 December CASA DECOR is a Portuguese interior design showcase that has taken over a 19th century villa in Foz, the Porto equivalent of La Croisette. Foz is a beautiful Atlantic-facing area and the most chic neighbourhood in Porto, if not in all of Portugal. In the latest edition, CAD04 invited 50 designers to create a room in this magnificent historic building. The entry to the building is through a luminous light passageway or "catwalk" designed by Pedro Macedo. The rest of the rooms vary from a buddha-bar type ‘Salon du The’ to the stunning pink, black and gold baroque minimalist interpretation of Francisco Neves (see picture). CAD04 Av.
