October 8, 2007 RYAN STYLES: BUSINESS & BALLOONS by Jamie E17 This is a new performance by Ryan Styles. It showcases Ryan's flexibility as a drag artist, creating an array of characters, which using mime and clowning techniques brings alive elaborate costumes and props. Inside a giant balloon exists a secret world, inside a businessman's briefcase exists a dirty secret. Ryan Styles explores personal space, dirty secrets, little white lies and daily routines with a cast of characters appearing from balloons, briefcases and swimming pools. In 2005, Ryan won Bistrotheque's Tranny Talent competiton. Since then, he has performed internationally, including at the Guggenheim in NYC, at Trannyshack in San Francisco and at the Edinburgh Fringe festival.
