January 13, 2008 SKULLBOY @ RISE BERLIN by Jamie E17 Matthew Brindle is a London based artist and photographer working within fashion and London's club scene. He currently has an exhibition "Skullboy" on show at Rise Berlin. Experimenting with online indentities. Part creation, part self-realisation and part asperation these identities gave an intimate online glipse into the life of a modern youth growing up. While many usernames and 'selves' where created during Matthew's transition to an adult, only one was as fully realised and notorious as 'SkullBoy'. RISE Berlin is an artist-run space and silkscreen print studio, first opened in September 2007. RISE Berlin features several solo shows and two group shows a year, in addition RISE Berlin organizes art related events. Skullboy is on until Sunday 27th January 2008 RISE BERLIN
