February 5, 2008 The Blonds by Joey Phi The Blond's fall 2008 collection, which was inspired by movies such as Wonderwall and Legend, includes handmade Swarovski crystal corsets, party dresses, elegant gowns and SAGA furs. Everything, from the colors, the shapes, the outrageous hair, the Louboutin shoes, the phenomenal venue(Prince George Ballroom) was perfect and wowed everyone in the crowd. Absolutely stunning pieces. I think it's the first time I see a collection with Swarovski crystals that's not tacky in any way and will probably make every Hollywood star wanna fire their designer. I love how they did not focus on selling and just opted for over the top unwearable extravaganza. Designers Phillipe and David Blond were nominated for the 2007 Fashion Group International Star award for their work. The Blonds
