February 16, 2008 Komakino A/W 2008/9 by Anthony Symonds ‘Thank you demon for the suffering’ is the snappily titled second collection from designer double act Komakino. Moving away from the monochromatic uber volume and cartoon graphics of last season A/W finds our pair in more sombre mood-maybe it’s the suffering. All black and a little bit quilted the flavour is still firmly urban sportswear but with an early 90’s performance twist. Elastic straps, plastic fastenings and padded cire nylon all get the techno tracksuit treatment from our favourite newbie’s. One to watch! See the story
