February 26, 2008 THE RED AND THE BLUE by Antonia Leslie For the Atsuro Tayama show there was red carpet everywhere and the first outfit was red too.The bubble shape was reworked, up down and all over. There was tailoring and pleats, edging and piping, tweed and knitting, (he has always quite liked tweeds). The sleek style of Pussy Galore made an appearance with tailored jackets and ski pants and went right on to spiky heels, even the prints were spiky florals.
