GOOD MORNING LADIES
by Antonia Leslie

Well isn't Robert Normand busy opening a new boutique, giving a fashion show and changing press. He has always been quite an individual designer especially about footwear and he did it again this time. Heavy heeled court shoes decorated with silver leaves in metal. Moving up through the looks everything was elegant and 1940's but always with a sense of humour. Spotty yellow box jackets with droopy sleaves and matching gloves, or very elegant high waisted evening dresses with overcoats in greys or browns. How about sequins and overcoats. This wasn't just granny chic but hollywood granny chic. There was even a Chanel suit but the usual brading had become huge silver discs in a row. The Queen mum headscarf popped in for lunch too.
