June 26, 2008 QueerBash by Stik QueerBash!!! A D.I.Y. festival of queer music, performance, and politics. Sunny Camberwell plays host to Queerbash, a two day festival with an agenda. A space for queer bands and performers to expose their art, to inspire people to create more bands, to propose workshops to bring political awareness on different issues. A big Wang-Dang-Doodle of a Do to celebrate queer identities, fluidity and movement. Glitter up your perinium and get on down to the Synergy Centre. Acts include Justin Bond, Noisy Pig, Baby Mozart, and Stav B. WORKSHOPS !! Friday : Self defence for queers. Screen printing. Sunday: Piercing. Queers questionning hate crime laws.
