Flight to Paris
by Antonia Leslie

Oh Katherine Hepburn, or Amelia Earhart. Those magnificent ladies in their flying machines. Gaultier gave us propeller decoration, airstrip lighting and tight fitting leather helmets with goggles. The whole look was very sexy and ellegant. Their were pilot jackets in leather with zip up hoods and pilot jumpsuits in black satin or leather. 1930's evening dresses cut on the bias with a touch of fun such as lame checks and oversize thick ribbed cardigans and still the leather helmet and goggles. Tatiana Patiz made an appearance, it was great to see her again. Always an upbeat show this was fun but oh so glamorous and sophisticated. Perfect for Hermes.
