October 1, 2009 Little Joe by Neandro by Tatu Vuolteenaho Little Joe is the latest collection from Neandro and is based on Andy Warhol's muse Joe Dallesandro, the man described by Scavulo as one of the ten most beautiful men he ever photographed. Joe became the star of The Factory movies such as Flesh and Trash. He became an icon of male physical perfection. The collection focuses on creating sophisticated masculine styling, which enhances the natural key aspects of a beautiful face and the lines of a perfect body. The technique and styling allows the softness, gentleness and casualness of the hair and suggest the underlying male sensitivity and vulnerability. Little Joe is the tattoo on Joe’s upper right arm and of course immortalised in Lou Reed’s Walk on the wildside.
