Floating real icebergs in a mirrored pool of water under a huge translucent box that was lifted upwards to reveal the miniature arctic circle. And there they were the models, boys and girls, disguised as wolf bears with their feet in shallow water. In fact nearly all the clothes trailed in the water and all the shoes got wet, including Karl Lagerfeld"s boots when he slowly walked round the North Pole. The clothes were all about the cosy, knitted fur, mohair, hairy tweed. there were even long haired fake fur trousers some with "Chanel" jackets. Even the evening wear was cosy, strass embroidered and fake fur shift dresses, and the lightest dress was smocked to give it volume. Round and round the iceberg like a teddy bear. Chanel
