The London Look: From Street to Catwalk

This exhibition at the Museum of London studies the relationship between London street-wear and catwalk fashion. It won’t stretch the imagination of the casual viewer, but may still manage to attract some level of interest. Think Mods, Teddys, Punks and Skins, and you get the picture. One of the most interesting parts was the vintage film footage of Ossie Clark and Mary Quant catwalk shows that were shown in a large scale theatre format. Also the salmon pink latex walls were interesting, If bored…there is always the Museum’s free permanent collection with an adjoining cafe…
