March 6, 2011 magical manish by Antonia Leslie We were all squeezed into the entrance of a car park like sheep going through a dip.This added to the atmosphere of mild hysteria and buzz. Then in the front row the rapping celebrity, Kenny Welsh, had everybody whispering.Then there was the Indian magician who released the first model from nowhere with fire and a perspex box. That had everybody stop whispering and begin gasping.As for the clothes there was his usual sumptuous embroidery and aplique work but with a more sober touch to the shapes.The first few looks were 1940's type skirt suits with nipped jackets with hair that was a perfect foil in the from of a dinner plate hat.Then there were his signature embroidered jumpsuits and fun cocktail dresses with devil head bustiers.Lastly the magician split a model in two and we all went o Manish Arora
