January 24, 2012 LLOYD JOHNSON: THE MODERN OUTFITTER by Gemma Winter Chelsea Space is set to host an exhibition of Lloyd Johnson cult clothing designer whose Kings Road boutique was a hub of rock influenced fashion from the 70s. Johnson’s clientele ranged from the Sex Pistols, The Clash, Siouxsie Sioux, Jerry Lee Lewis to Liza Minellli, and perhaps most famously George Michael, the leather jacket in the video for Faith was a BSA LaRocka/Johnson’s.
