the little waif in paris
by Antonia Leslie

Oh dear started my show week with a late arrival, but actually the show became like looking at a secret through a doorway (too late to go in). The clothes appeared a the end of the runway as if from nowhere. This gave me the chance to look as if I had a magnifying glass and to concentrate on the details, which were rich. Padded rouched edging on jackets, little areas of spots jumping out from black dresses and strange Napoleonic plastic hats. The white cotton ample blouses were very tempting and they added a Pierrot touch to the looks. Limi was like a very refined Japanese Charlie Chaplin.
