Extravagant trainers were topped off with any amount of prints, stripes, words and pillows, the accessory of choice, some fluorescent, others printed with a leopard head. The silhouettes were long and made longer by the extended mohicans sprayed with more words. I really enjoyed the split open jersey fringes that reminded me of 1960's plastic strip curtains. The music and the strength of the looks made the girls walk full of energy and almost tribal pride. There was an elegance that belied all the outrageousness. Poised ambassadors of a new era.
