striking a note in paris
by Antonia Leslie

Junko showed in what seems to be her favourite Espace Pierre Cardin. The decor was rather office like with grey carpet and benches. Well that turned out to be the perfect backdrop for the prints and colours that followed. The looks were quite 60's English film maybe "A Taste of Honey". Leopard print duster coats and pencil skirts. Change of film and we moved on to Sophia Loren and "Arabesque" with brocade and fur trim. The shapes were both masculine and feminine at the same time, like boys shorts with shawl collared jackets or cream long haired duffles with ankle boots. All of this topped off with done at home half bouffants. As usual the appearance at the end of Junko herself just confirmed what a striking woman she is.
