DREAMACHINE
by Gemma Winter

London premier of the drugless high installation designed by counter culture legend William S Burroughs and beat painter Brion Gysin. The dreamachine is a stroboscopic flicker device you view with your eyes closed that produces visual stimuli and hallucinations. Gysin believed that by offering the world a drugless high the invention could revolutionize human consciousness. For the morbid among you, the device was used 48 hours before Kurt Cobain's death. To accompany the main event there will also be live music, talks and film screenings.
