March 20, 2013 Craig Green's nomination by Kenny Campbell On loan from the ATOPOS Collection, two costumes of Craig Green’s MA Central Saint Martin’s collection will be displayed at the Design Museum’s exhibition from March 20th to July 07th 2013, representing his nomination to the Designs of the Year awards. Part of his MA collection is currently on display at the ‘ARRRGH! Monstres de Mode’ exhibition at La Gaîté lyrique, Paris. Craig Green’s fascinating MA collection is playing with ideas of utility and function. The large wooden structures in this collection have connotations of religious pilgrimage. Inspired by luggage carriers, the huge structures dwarf the models and create abstract, almost menacing silhouettes. Each color outfit has an exact replica outfit in black, which walks behind it as a shadow on the catwalk. Design Museum
