March 4, 2005 Westwood’s A/W 05 Propaganda by Tatu Vuolteenaho Vivienne Westwood’s Autumn/Winter 2005 Collection was called Propaganda. The theme was visible with large prints with the word propaganda and Second World War inspired looks. The theme went also beyond the clothing as we were given information on Leonardo Peltier’s Case. This collection was recognizably Westwood: Sexy women with curves and extra high heels. Colours were muted and many of the textiles had old rich feel to them. The cutting and the shapes had no ‘regular’ side seams in sight.
