March 5, 2005 Gaspard Yurkievich goes romantic by Tatu Vuolteenaho “I think romance is on the rise” was the title of Gaspard’s Autumn/Winter 05 collection and the show was held in the charming Theatre Du Palais Royal. His collection was cute and girly with feathers and silver glitter platform boots. Dresses and skirts were above the knee length mostly and some looked like modern versions of maids dresses. There were good pocket detailing in the jackets and vests and many models had backpacks on too (and not the handbags). Last few dresses were full length and the last one showed a more daring and provocative side to this collection.
