Berkley Square was a swishy treat, no need to book … diners and drinkers alike are ushered into David Collins' tastefully done out bar. I had a Bloody Mary, which slipped down a treat and enjoyed a vista of carefully orchestrated hustle and bustle. Attentive staff kited out in black frocks with Japanese style cummerbunds made sure we were topped up and primed for a trip to Nobu's upper regions. Eased into the delights of what was to come we sampled marinated slivers of beef and octopus, everything concocted with finesse. Then came the signature dish, the blackened cod, which was everything it's piped up to be! It was so melting and highly addictive! We all wondered at the magical powers of the Nobu chef….
