I had a Bloody Mary, which slipped down a treat and enjoyed a vista of carefully orchestrated hustle and bustle. Attentive staff kited out in black frocks with Japanese style cummerbunds made sure we were topped up and primed for a trip to Nobu's upper regions. Eased into the delights of what was to come we sampled marinated slivers of beef and octopus, everything concocted with finesse.
