October 18, 2005 Above Zurich by Tatu Vuolteenaho Zurich tops the list of cities with best quality of life. It’s easy to see that when you visit Zurich. In it’s nice and cute perfection it’s almost like a toy town. If you want some nature experiences too it’s easy as there are beautiful lakes and mountains around. Recommended little hike is called Above Zurich. You take a train to the hill of Uetliberg which has a viewing tower on the summit. Then take a hiking route that runs about two hours south along a forested ridge overlooking the lake to Felsenegg, from where a cable-car can deliver you 300m down to Adliswil village to catch a train back to Zürich.
