September 11, 2004 Alternative Miss World by Jonty Skrufff 15 'neither male nor female but superhuman' contestants will be competing at the Alternative Miss World beauty pageant in London next month which returns after a six year absence. The ceremony is being planned along the lines of a pedigree dog show. "The event is modelled more on Crufts than the world famous beauty pageant (Miss World). However, they do share the same competition categories and personality interview". This year's proceedings are being co-hosted by Matthew Glamorre, one of London's most dedicated followers of extreme fashion.
