Run turned 1
by Tatu Vuolteenaho
At Runís 1st birthday party on Friday they did again what they do so well: great music. Lump improvised on all kinds of weird and fun sounds on top of deep dub house techno beats and snappy clicks.
Jay Haze was DJ:ing using his three deck Final Scratch tools and had all this wonderful interesting music to play. There was lots of variety and it was a good mixture of being experimental, accessible dance beats and just having fun.
Someone Else played a deep and hypnotic live set in his quirky rhythmic way. There were ambient landscapes, tight robotic beats and many things in between. The journey just kept on going and transforming.
