December 13, 2005 The Electronic Winter Ball by Tatu Vuolteenaho This past Saturday we were dancing the night away in a previously unused labyrinthine catacombs under Regents Street. There were 3 dance floors on this great space and they had electronic legends such as Mouse On Mars live on the main room. It was almost too packed, but a great night anyway. Süd Electronic’s Winter Warmer room had Portable and Lump live. We have heard their live sets few times recently and they always have something totally new on offer. Lakuti, Mark Henning, Marco Shuttle (pictured) and Jonathan Burnip were the Djs in the Süd room. We enjoyed all this music and even though it could be described as minimal there was lots of variation to the rhythms and moods from deep and mean to cute and flirty. www.sudelectronic.com
