January 30, 2006 Warhol’s world: Photography & Television by Dominic jones Its an amazing collection of private photos by Andy Warhol at the Factory between 1976 and 1987. It’s an incredible glimpse into his life, with photos of him with Jean-Michel Basquiat, David Hockney, Grace Jones, Debbie Harry and many more interesting faces. As well as a small but delightful collection of self-portraits including the famous drag pictures downstairs in the basement. The collection is on at the Hauser & Wirth Gallery 196A Piccadilly London W1J 9DY and is so large a collection it spreads out to a smaller gallery across the road on Swallow Street. The exhibition runs until the 11th of March 2006.
