1920's in Paris 2006
by Antonia Leslie

The girls walked out to 1920's jazz, in really great shoes and papier mache
wigs, giving a total uniformity. Huge eyes outlined with very long false eyelashes gave them all a look of child women. The clothes were more Russian constructivist than flapper, with bold prints and knits. The colours were all rather faded, old bordeaux, washed black and sun dried rust. Diamonds seemed to be the shape of the show turning up in knitwear, shaved fur and tailoring. She has a fresh approach to design and the mixes of colours and shapes were all surprising, in a good way. Alenaakhmadullina is a name you can't miss.
