T: How old are you?
D: 22
T: What is your real name
D: Edouard Darracq
T: What kind of music did you first get into?
D: Ambient electronic music, Brian Eno, Daft Punk. Also Latin and African
music. I got into minimal techno about 5 years ago.
T: Which musicians and record labels are very much on your play lists now?
D: Cabanne, Mark-Henning, Sebastian Russell
T: Which came first, making music or DJing?
D: I started DJing 7 years ago and started making music 3 years ago
T: Do you have any formal musical training?
D: no
T: When did Multivitamins start?
D: june 2004
T: Multivitamins has already 3 releases. Where can you buy them from in
London? Any mp3 sales sites to get them from?
D:

www.juno.co.uk/search.php?q=multi+vitamins&precision=all&columnall
www.phonicarecords.com/detail.aspx?ID=12760
www.smallfish.co.uk/shop/sf/browse.asp
not yet for mp3 sales
T: When you make music, do you have it pretty much in your head already when
you start or how does the piece of music come together?
D: start with one sound and after is like a puzzle (find sound who can fit
together).
T: Do you play live? (your own music)
D: not yet
T: You have 4 tracks to listen to on your site. Have they been released or
are there plans for releasing your material. (Especially I want to get my
hands on Liquid Kick!)
D: none except liquid kick on kpm records
T: You have an impressive list of clubs where you have played. What are the
most memorable gigs/clubs where you have played?
D: all are good experience
T: You have 3 different styles of mixes on your site. When you get booking
do the promoters tell you which style they want. Or do they just book you
and you figure out the style in the situation?
D:i ask them what they want me to play
T: What software and hardware do you use when making music?
D:reason, live, battery, few vst and logic
T: What do you think about an idea of a club that would mix the flamboyant
electro scene with more low-key minimal scene?
D: I'm against that because I don't like too much electro house music
T: Any tips on those would like to DJ or play live at Multivitamins?
D: send me a mix of max 30mn or tracks for live
